I've developed my first "application" at the age of 10 with a Sinclair 1000, 2KB of RAM, it was a tree made with the for and plot functions in Basic. Since then I've loved programming.
When I first started to work I was a salesman mainly. I sold publicity for the telephone directory of near cities from where I lived (Rosario, Argentina).
I also sold different products on my own, not working for a firm.
In the year 2000 I began to work for JKS Tradings an internet marketing firm located in England, for them I developed several web applications and managed their databases for the manipulation of the information of their clients. I also was the admin of their Linux servers located in Buenos Aires. I worked happily with them two and a half year. They decided to close down their operations in Argentina ending 2003 approximately.
Since that moment I started to commercialize several products over the internet using programms developed by me in PHP: email marketing.
I also have couple of servers in Buenos Aires with wich I sell web hosting, and personalized services to a few companies and end users.
Since 2/2007 and for 1 year I worked as a php programmer for Identidad Comunicacion SRL. There I did mainly lot of LAMP work
Since 4/2008 to present I work for an Australian firm as PHP Lead Developer. LAMP, ajax and js development, system analisis and project management and coordination with small teams.
Acquired Knowledge
- High capacity to resolve IT related problems and real system analysis. The term “real�? in contrast of theoretical.
- Excellent english reading and writing. Good+ listening and very good speaking
- PHP programming: for my little web hosting company (http://www.sistemasdinamicos.com.ar) I developed completely in PHP Argento 1.0 (http://cpdemo.sistemasdinamicos.com.ar/), a web hosting control panel that have behaved very well since 2003, acting closely with the OS (Linux).
- Ajax and javascript development. (mainly Ext-js, Yui)
- Linux configuration and administration (Postfix, Apache, SSH, Bind, vsftpd, Proftpd, etc).
- Lot of experience with Linux daemons writen in PHP, shared memory
- Databases: Mysql
- Complex email operations
- High capacity to acquire computer knowledge fast
- Experience in UML, Extremme Programming, CVS, collaborative development in PHP.
- Experience in the treatment of english clients.
- Creativity and innovation to make sistems better (IT related or not).
